Appointment with the nature guide and departure in the direction of Zafferana .

The path begins with a cobbled road, with fairly steep slopes , which within a few hundred meters allows us to clearly see the Ionian coast, and the whole hilly area below.

Arriving at the highest point of the path, you will proceed downhill towards the Piano Bello Refuge , characterized by the presence of a "pagghiaru" near the structure.

Continuing the route, which enters a thick holm oak forest, you will come across Ilice di Carrinu " centuries-old holm oak with monumental features. The route ends with the last part in lava paving, between old lava flows of extraordinary beauty.

Guests are welcomed into an equipped area of 1,500 square meters equipped with wooden seats and tables, pergolas and reserved canopies, surrounded by a typically Etnean nature.

Toilets and services available to participants, including entertainment for the little ones.

Lunch based on typical products with rustic appetizers, cold cuts and platters of local cheeses.

Grilled barbecue prepared on sight and bread baked in a wood oven, made available to participants who want to try their hand at making pizzas and focaccias.
